抓斗清污机主要由卷扬机构、钢丝绳、耙斗、钢丝绳滑轮、耙斗张合装置、机械过力矩保护、移动行车、地面固定式轨道及移动行车定位装置组成。整机定位清污动作、耙斗升降、耙斗张合、耙斗污物刮除等与固定安装的钢丝绳牵引耙斗式格栅除污机相同,唯有上机架与下机架分体,上机架全部设在移动行车上。其工作原理为:除污时,机架移动到需清污的格栅位置,当上下机架对位准确后,耙斗才可顺利下放除污。对于宽幅格栅,除污机除污完毕移动一个齿耙有效宽度,继续除污,直至格栅栅面污物完毕,栅前后水位差达到正常值时为止。对于多沟渠分布格栅,除污机除污完一个沟渠的格栅后,移动至另一沟渠,继续除污,直至所有沟渠格栅栅面污物完毕,栅前后水位差达到正常值时为止。
